Building Christian Support Systems
By developing, strengthening, and sustaining strong Christian support systems, the body of believers in a local congregation can grow together in faith and more readily find ways to share the Gospel of Jesus. The areas of focus during my time as the TLC Coordinator at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Louisville, KY are listed here.
Small Groups
A top focus of mine has been to help grow the small group ministry at our church. I've led two leader training seminars and a leader development experience. We've grown the number of small groups and supported their spiritual development.
Sunday School
By equipping volunteers with substantive curriculum and learning opportunities with the pastor, I have helped ensure the quality of the youth Sunday School hour. Providing clarity and direction to the Sunday School Superintendent and volunteers alike is a way I have found to be effective without doing everything.

Youth Group
Providing Christian support networks for our youth is extremely important! We meet regularly for devotion and fun. In the summer of 2024, we took our youth to the Higher Things Conference in Arkansas. It was a wonderful time of faith development, bonding, and fun!
Outreach
I continue to look for ways to help our church build connections with other LCMS churches, Christian organizations, and individuals in order to find ways to share the Gospel in our community. We recently attended a "Sharing the Gospel with Henna" event that was a unique opportunity to connect with a local immigrant community in Louisville.
